The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

After graduating in December of 1942, I saw action in the Pacific Theater of WW II. Upon returning Stateside, I accepted a teaching position at St. Paul High School in Norwalk, Ohio. I also accepted the head coaching duties of football, basketball, and baseball. In June of 1951, I married Elizabeth Landoll of Norwalk. Within six years, we had four children, Michele, Jeff, Tod, and Denise. We moved to Fremont, Ohio, in 1954, where I continued to teach and coach at Fremont Ross. Soon after, I earned my real estate sales license, became a broker and a Realtor. I quit teaching and concentrated on my real estate career. I held several Local and State offices during my active years. After varied experiences, including government appraisal work, residential and commercial sales, and farm sales; I retired to Orlando, Florida, in 2006. My years at Penn State are among my most cherished memories.
